To flavor and enrich the taste of its dishes, Rena Resort uses selected and certified products, high quality Acetaia Marchi that adopts a process of natural, artisanal, manual and traditional processing.

Antica Distilleria Petrone

Another excellence of the territory of Mondragone is the Antica Distilleria Petrone. Founded in 1858 and now in its fifth generation, It has managed to establish itself on the Italian and foreign markets for the excellence of its products which range from the most classic ones, such as Limoncello, to Elixir Falernum up to liqueurs with fruity aromas. Always looking at the innovation of the production cycle, It maintains a strong contact with its own territorial tradition made of love and perseverance.

Birrificio Erbanina

In the unspoilt heart of Sannio, between the provinces of Caserta and Benevento, there is the “Erbanina” craft brewery which uses only the best local raw materials to produce its own craft beers. The barley for the production of malt is grown on land within the Matese Park, at KM 0 from the brewery. The water used to produce the beers, which is supplied from the nearby Riofreddo spring located always in the Matese Park, is pure with characteristics that allow the brewer not to intervene with invasive treatments to correct its properties. The hop qualities used are carefully selected to give the beers the desired aromatic characteristics.

Foof

Foof is the first park and museum entirely dedicated to dogs. Rena guests’ four-legged friends will be offered a boarding service, ensuring they receive all the care and attention they need. Foof is located in Mondragone, not far from the Rena Resort.

Frantoio Ibleo

Always sensitive and close to the traditional realities of family management, for “green gold” (oil) and “red gold” (tomato), Rena Resort flies to Sicily, in Ragusa territory, where he meets the Società Agricola Iblea Oro Verde di Sicilia. The oil is obtained from a variety of very valuable olives: the “Nocellara Etnea“. The work cycle used, in line with the principles of respect for the local supply chain and sustainability applied also by the Rena Resort, goes from the cultivation and collection of fruit, to bottling and reuse of waste (used as fertilizers) that allow to respect the environment. On the other hand, extracts, sauces, dried and semi-dried tomatoes are produced from tomato plantations.

I Borboni

“I Borboni” wineries in Lusciano (CE) are committed to combining wine tradition and innovation, focusing on quality and sustainability. They enhance the native vines, such as Asprinio, which is made wine in tuff caves dug at 15 meters depth. The family-run winery aims to produce wines that reflect the culture and history of the area.

Caseificio La Masseria

In Mondragone, the “Homeland of Mozzarella“, Rena Resort for the “white pearl“, cheeses and their derivatives, has chosen the dairy “La Masseria”. In keeping with the Campana tradition, using milk from buffaloes that graze freely in large green spaces, artisanal production is maintained to obtain products of the highest quality.

Cava d’Onice

Always in search of the excellence of the Italian territory, among the Tuscan hills of Montalcino, we are happy to count among our partners, the winery “Cava d’Onice”. A young and dynamic Company, run by a family, which offers wines that are pure expression of the Tuscan territory in which they are born.

Another reality of the territory of Mondragone is the winery “Collefasani” which has its own vineyards in Fasani, a locality of Sessa Aurunca (CE) in the Aurunci Mountains The land, volcanic nature, is rich in minerals and the vineyard, being exposed to the sea breeze, the benefits of salt that gives a distinctive taste in wines. With pride, highlights the typical wine of our territory synonymous with elegance and finesse: the “Falerno del Massico DOC”.

Rena Resort can organize tours and itineraries to discover the scenic, archaeological, and cultural beauties of Campania, led by expert guides who are passionate about the area. This service is offered multilingually and can also be arranged for organized tourist groups.

IPSEOA “Angelo Celletti” Institute of Formia

Rena Resort, extremely attentive and sensitive to the topic of training willing young students, cooperates with the Professional State Institute for Food and Wine and Hotel Hospitality “Angelo Celletti” of Formia (LT), to support the development of know-how and skills. The initiative aims to promote the integration between school, business and territory and represents for students an important educational and guidance opportunity that can lead them to make an experience within a stimulating and dynamic operational environment.

Partschillerhof

In the Alto Atesina area of Fiè allo Sciliar, Rena Resort has discovered the “Partschillerhof”, a farm run by a family of organic farmers with over 40 years of experience, specialized in the production of jams, syrups and other products made from organically grown fruits and herbs free of harmful elements, chemicals and additional elements. The production cycle, subjected to strict controls, is short so that the aroma and color of the fruits are preserved.

Pasta Vesuvio

For its pasta line, Rena Resort has chosen “Pasta Vesuvio”. The company, based in the province of Caserta, uses excellent raw materials produced in the territory in accordance with tradition using 100% Italian wheat and pure water that rises from the extinct volcano of Roccamonfina, whose aquifer is the source for the best mineral waters of the Riardo basin. The result is a handmade paste with bronze drawing with slow drying at low temperature without additives and preservatives.

Porto di Mola

Porto di Mola is set in a fascinating territory, on the slopes of the volcano of Roccamonfina (CE), in a place rich in history and strong vocation wine. A Company surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and large green areas that makes the mix between tradition and interest in technological innovation its credo creating always new products with exceptional organoleptic characteristics. Totally focused on local products, in line with the principles of Rena Resort, has as its focus the promotion of the area where It is located with particular reference to the plantation of Bariletta (typical of Rocca d’Evandro) and Falanghina and Aglianico.

Telaro

The Telaro winery is located in Galluccio, between the slopes of Monte Camino and the Roccamonfina volcanic group. Wine enthusiasts can enjoy fascinating tours, starting in the surrounding vineyards and continuing to the winery where the grapes are processed and bottled. The tour also includes a tasting of wines and traditional products. Guests of the Rena Resort will also receive a discount coupon for purchasing wines at the winery.

Villa Matilde Avallone

Villa Matilde Avallone is a winery based in Cellole (CE) that produces, for more than half a century, high quality wines in Campania with vineyards from Alto Casertano to Irpinia. Quality, love for tradition and respect for the roots are factors shared by Rena Resort with an eye always turned to innovation.

Our Meats

For the meats served at Rena Resort we supply, for the Hotel line, also at selected local butchers that, in addition to traditional products, also offer a delicacy including the casertano buffalo meat. At the Mondragone butchery, instead, the typical and traditional “salsiccia mondragonese”: a typical product of the area, known for its unique flavor given by artisanal processing. Finally, for the module “Grill” of the line Events we supply from local farmers who propose genuine products derived from animals raised in freedom.

Our Catch

The fish offered to Rena’s guests comes from the best fisheries in the area, which guarantee the freshness of species typical of “Mare Nostrum”. We tend to prefer wild and local fish, chosen for its authenticity and respect of marine traditions. Every ingredient is carefully chosen to offer a gastronomic experience that celebrates the richness of the sea.
